Dear Internet Users,
Within our medium-term programming framework, we are now in the second year of the 2016-2018 triennium, which we hope will enable FEICOM to contribute significantly to the emergence objective for which the President of the Republic urges all the institutions to get down to work. To this end, we resolved to focus our activity on optimizing the consumption of the council investment budget. At the same time, the resource mobilization strategy, which has proved to be successful over the past several years, will be maintained in the same way as the activities carried out in partnership and those aimed at modernizing the company. This modernization will accelerate with the effective commissioning of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dubbed "Axiom Solutions FEICOM". This collaborative platform aims to significantly improve the functioning of the entities of the establishment and so, boost their performance.
The year 2017 will also witness the effective migration of the FEICOM’s management system to the new ISO 9001/2015 Standard. This evolution, for which work has already been undertaken, is part of a progress drive through the quest for a greater control of our activities and a refinement of their strategic alignment. In addition, two other key projects will be completed, namely the preparation of the Intervention Strategy Document and the revision of the organization chart, in order to make it more adapted to the changing context of the implementation of the decentralization policy.
Finally, it is on these main lines of action that efforts will be focused with a view to carrying out the tasks assigned to FEICOM by the Government. With this option, we intend to maintain the course set by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, who in the preface to the book entitled "FEICOM, 40 Years at the Heart of Local Development", urged the establishment to "remain a key actor (...) in the commitment to lead Cameroon to emergence in 2035".
Meanwhile, your reactions and suggestions are always welcome to help us improve, not only our interventions but also, the user-friendliness of this website.
