Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit (Continued)

Tuesday, 8 April 2025 was Day two of the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit.  It included plenary sessions, round table discussions, and offered various networking opportunities where participants could exchange views on how to leverage the Commonwealth advantage.

The day’s activities included a round table session on “Transforming Urban Centres:  Industrialisation and Rapid Urbanisation,” which featured the participation of the General Manager as a speaker. In his address, he gave a brief presentation of FEICOM’s mandate, highlighting the institution’s contribution to the empowerment of medium cities facing urban challenges by financing projects in the areas of water supply and sanitation, education, and social housing.

The General Manager also underscored FEICOM’s commitment to collaborating with partners to implement programmes aimed at mitigating the effects of urbanisation.
