Presentation of the latest winner of the FEICOM Literary Award
Josée Solange EONE, currently working at the Centre Regional Agency, is a civil engineering design engineer trained at the National Polytechnique High School of Yaoundé, where she distinguished herself through her dedication and determination to acquire the skills necessary to transform her environment.
After working for private sector construction companies, she joined FEICOM to scale up the impact of its actions on the country’s development. Thanks to the trust conferred on her by the General Manager, she was appointed to the position of Service Head for the Development of Regional and Local Authorities at FEICOM’s Centre Regional Agency.
There, she is working relentlessly for the development of the regional and local authorities by providing technical and strategic support for local development projects.
As a true lover of arts, Solange is fond of reading and drawing. She won the last internal literary award with her short story entitled “Akamba: Le Jeune Brave” (Akamba: The Brave Young Man), which traces the courage and resilience of a young hero.
This book was inspired by a real-life project in which Solange participated. It relates to the funding granted to Yaoundé VI Council for the construction of a solar-powered borehole at the Biyem-Assi District Hospital, following a supportive counselling session conducted by the Head of the Centre regional Agency.
Between professional rigour and artistic creativity, Josée Solange EONE embodies a generation of committed, visionary, and passionate women, ready to build a better future for their communities.
