Urban development projects window
The urban development projects window finances the following initiatives: (i) development planning documents, (ii) urban infrastructure and equipment projects and (iii) non-income generating digital territory projects.
Development planning documents include:

The urban development master plans
-
Land use plans or summary town planning layouts
-
Sector plans
-
Council environmental action plans
-
Urban restructuring, consolidation or renovation plans
-
Urban displacement maps
-
Council development plans
The repayment period of the funding contracted to prepare development planning documents may not exceed six (06) years.
Urban development projects include the following:

Opening and maintenance of urban roads
-
Connection to urban energy supply, drinking water and sanitation networks operated by public service companies

Urban parking lots
-
Road traffic regulation, road signs and signals as well as urban addressing equipment

Public lavatories and street furniture
-
Other urban infrastructure and equipment projects
The repayment period for loans incurred to finance urban infrastructure and facilities projects may not exceed twenty-five (25) years. The funding agreement specifies the repayment period per type of project.
Digital territory projects include in particular:

Acquisition and installation of local telecommunications networks

Construction and management of community tele-centres

Internet cafés
-
The construction and management of computerised solutions incubators

Computerisation of municipal services
-
Development of applications
-
Other digital territory projects
The repayment period for the loan share of the financing incurred for digital territory projects may not exceed twenty (10) years.
