We hereby present to you some models of the standard plans for Reading and Cultural Animation Centres (CLAC) approved during the workshop chaired by the Minister of Arts and Culture on 27 June 2024. The promotion of culture and literature is a major development issue. Indeed, FEICOM supports, both within itself and within RLAs, numerous projects aimed at disseminating arts and supervising artistic creation and reading.The CLACs presented are multi-purpose spaces for promoting books, reading and cultural animation. They are designed to be places for the expression of thought, creativity and awakening for our children.These standard plans will encourage local elected officials to focus on culture as a vector of social inclusion, the development of the population and the strengthening of the capacities of the youth of our communities.

This 29th Evaluation Committee (COMEV) also offered us the opportunity to highlight the actions carried out by FEICOM to improve the living environment of our fellow citizens.To this end, the paper presented by the Department of Partnership Projects and Programmes reviewed the snail breeding project of Nkongsamba I Council financed within the framework of the Programme for the Economic and Social Development of Crisis-hit Medium Cities (PRODESV II).The said project involves the construction of a shed, on-call housing facilities and a laboratory. The population of Tiko heartily expressed their joy at having access to drinking water.His Royal Highness ALAHDJI SOULEMAN HAMASANI IYA, head of the Tiko Muslim community, took a photograph besides the commemorative plaque to immortalise the commissioning of the Tiko drinking water supply nentwork on 4 June 2024. He is one of the 30,000 inhabitants of TIKO Council who will benefit from this project implemented under the FEICOM Medium Cities Decentralization Programme (PDFVM), financed by the German cooperation through KfW. This infrastructure contributes to the improvement of drinking water supply in TIKO town and thus improves living conditions in this locality. The Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) convenes today, the 27th of November, its last global advisory council meeting for the year 2024.
