
They were welcome by the Director of Human Resources, Christian ETOUNDI, representative of the General Manager, on 9 February 2018, within the framework of the activities marking the 52nd Youth Day in Cameroon.
Following the approval of the General Manager, Philippe Camille AKOA, a delegation of 30 persons, including 28 students and 2 members of staff, visited the company within the premises of the corporation at 9 O’clock,. The said delegation was led by the Chief of Works of Sciences-Technologie et Tertiaire (STT) of the Etablishment, Lauriane NGO NDJENG.
The young learners of the Government Technical High School MFOU were welcome by the Director of Human Resources, Christian ETOUNDI who enlightened them on FEICOM, its origin, creation, evolution and its main missions. This enabled them to have a clear idea of the organization that government has placed at the heart of the decentralization process in Cameroon.
Afterward, the students and their staff were received in turns by the Head of the Planning, Management Control and Quality Division, KESSENG Berthe, the Sub-Director for Accounting and Statistics, Rose MFOUMOU and the Official in charge of the Gilbert BIWOLE Local Development Observatory, Valery TANKOU.
In the course of this visit, the guests of the General Manager were enlightened on management control in FEICOM, the implementation of its Quality Management System, the corporation is certified to ISO 9001/2015, its significant data base, decision making tools. Elements in figures and images on such aspects as, the location or the economic and human potential of the 374 municipalities of Cameroon were presented to them. Equally, light was thrown on the system of collection and redistribution of the resources that the State allocates to Councils, for the realization of their development projects.
The offices of Communication, Public Relations and Protocol Unit were the last stage of this visit to the enterprise. Students of the second cycle of Technical High School MFOU, Chief Town of Mefou and Afamba Division, Centre Region, carried out the feedback of the lessons they received althrough their visit in FEICOM. Their staff received documentation on the life of the corporation.
At the end of this working vist, the representative of the General Manager of FEICOM carried out the handing of enterprise gifts to the visitors. A cocktail was offered to the MFOU Technical High School delegation.
