Just weeks after hosting the Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council in Cameroon and inaugurating the first smart classroom initiative, FEICOM is now at the Mansion House, UK, turning vision into national scale action.
FEICOM arrived at the Commonwealth Trade & Investment Summit 2026 with a clear objective: unlock opportunities for our Regional and Local Authorities.
More specifically: “mobilise partnerships to scale digital education across Cameroon” and yesterday, 20 April, it happened!!!
Five (5) strategic agreements were signed between the CWEIC, PROMETHEAN, 5 Presidents of Regional Councils and FEICOM.
The mission is clear “Deploy smart classrooms across regions, accelerate digital literacy, and equip Cameroonian youth with the skills for a knowledge based economy”.
This is not just participation.
This is execution at national scale.
Through this initiative, FEICOM is actively contributing to:
– SDG 4, Quality Education
– SDG 9, Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
– SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals
This is also aligned with Cameroon’s National Development Strategy 2030 (NDS30) which prioritises digital transformation, human capital development, and inclusive growth.
From dialogue in Yaounde to implementation in London to impact across Cameroon, FEICOM is positioning itself as a strategic driver of decentralised development and digital transformation.
The future is not coming.
