Participation of FEICOM at the commonwealth day

Cameroon joined the rest of the world to celebrate the Commonwealth day that took place on Monday the 11^th of March 2019. The theme for this year was “A connected Commonwealth”. In Cameroon, several activities were organized from the 25^th of February to the 11^th of March 2019 to commemorate this event. FEICOM was invited to participate at this event with the view of enabling the public to better understand what the Company is doing for the Country. As a support to this event, FEICOM participated in some activities namely, the Connected Commonwealth fair, Commonwealth Department open day and the official commemoration ceremony. Another important activity in which FEICOM participated during this event was the Commonwealth Department open day. FEICOM’S participation at this event was very pertinent as it did not only foster cooperation relations with this Ministry but also gave the opportunity to know more about the Commonwealth Organization. It was also an opportunity to interact with the Commonwealth department of the Ministry of External Relations for more information on how with FEICOM, they can accompany Local Authorities benefit from the opportunities the Commonwealth organization offers.
