On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the East Regional Agency welcomed a support mission on archives management and classification, led by Mrs. MAMBOK Marie Jeannette.
The mission aimed to assess the implementation of recommendations made during the previous mission in July 2022.
During the visit, the Head of Mission emphasized on the importance of archives as the memory of the organization and highly strategic records. She also recalled the roles and responsibilities expected of Archives Correspondents within the Regional Agencies.
The mission included a visit to the Agency’s archives room, followed by the development of a work programme with the various departments.
This initiative contributes to strengthening the organization, preservation and effective management of the Agency’s documentary heritage.
