Capacity building for FEICOM’s officials in Artificial Intelligence
From 26 to 30 December 2024, the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance (FEICOM) organized training on mastering artificial intelligence (AI) for innovation and professional efficiency.This training, which took place in Yaoundé, benefited from technical support from the Jacky Felly NAFACK Center.The main objective of this training was to develop the capacity of FEICOM workers in the area of artificial intelligence, in order to enable them to better innovate and improve their professional efficiency.

FEICOM’s 50th anniversary
“FEICOM’s 50th anniversary also coincides with the end of the city hall and town hall construction programme initiated in 2006. Celebrating IWD 2025: FEICOM Ladies show compassion
Today, the ladies of FEICOM paid an emotionally-charged visit to the women of the AFIRI Centre as part of activities marking the celebration of the 40th International Women’s Day. The AFIRI Centre, which means “House of Hope,” reflects the image of its founder, Yvonne BELEMA.The Centre stands tall, it is resilient, friendly, and offers hope for the future. It is a place where women who are victims of domestic violence, widows, and women searching for a home or a future can find a helping hand to lift them up and give them a new desire to live. Implementation of the Programme for the Economic and Social Development of Crisis-hit Medium Cities
Within the framework of the implementation of the Programme for the Economic and Social Development of Crisis-hit Medium Cities (PRODESV II), the populations of BABADJOU, through Gisèle TSANGUE, Mayor of BABADJOU Council in the West Region, will benefit from a project to build 20 shops aimed at boosting the local economy and generating income for the Municipality.This infrastructure, carried out with the assistance of KFW, will soon be commissioned to the great joy of the Mayor and our fellow citizens of BABADJOU. The Mayor welcomed this initiative jointly implemented with KFW, which contributes to making her city a better place.
Implementation of 14 solar-powered drinking water supply networks construction projects
The populations of MOGODE and MOZOGO in the Far-North Region have benefited from the implementation of 14 solar-powered drinking water supply networks construction projects. The water supply networks were constructed under the Programme for the Economic and Social Development of Crisis-hit Medium Cities, PRODESV I.This achievement carried by FEICOM, in collaboration with the European Union through #KfW, makes it possible to address the problems of access to drinking water in MOGODE Council by providing healthy and clean water, thereby reducing the risks of water-borne diseases. It thus contributes to reducing morbidity and mortality rates, particularly among children and vulnerable people.
FEICOM grants support equipment to ATAM PLUS Association
On 28 January 2024, within the framework of local development and the improvement of the living conditions of the population, FEICOM in partnership with KfW provided the ATAM PLUS Association with equipment to be used to boost their daily activities under the PRODESV II programme.ATAM PLUS is an association of young people in Mbanga Council involved in the transformation of cassava tubers into cassava pudding locally known as baton de manioc.Note that this Council hosts a significant number of internally displaced people, all of whom are looking for stable employment.
